About

The Broad Street Manor is a Hillsdale historic home located about a mile from Hillsdale College. The home was built by the Stocks family circa 1868. The F W Stock Milling company was the largest flour mill east of the Mississippi  River until the 1960's  The home maintains all the character and charm from days gone by. During spring through fall the grounds change with a dazzling array of flowers. Down the hill is the carriage house where Brian and Linda have their studios to create works in wood, metal, mosaic and glass designs.​

Guests have the use of the sun room and living room until 10 pm each evening. Each morning a delicious breakfast is provided between 8 and 9 am. While we do not cater to special diets we will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

​

In addition, guests (May thru Oct) can request a special dinner for an additional fee down at the Pavilion on Broad Street our unique and one of  kind structure offering BBQ, live fire Santa Maria grilled meats and other food  most nights until 11 pm

We have four rooms to rent at The Manor. Essie's room with a private bath, Dorothy and Marlene's room with a shared Jack and Jill bath and our largest room Linda's Suite

Things To Do

Downtown Hillsdale Attractions
Check out Dante's Wine Bar, St Joe's Cafe for Pizza and the Pub and Grub for burgers and other tavern style food.
Visit Mrs Stocks Park
​This park is historic in that it was originally part of the the Stocks property and borders the Broad Street Manor to the east.comprised abut 9 acres with a pond.
